Anything black, including Cars or any other vehicle, absorbs heat and becomes warm inside.

The same is the case with Cleats.

Yes, Black Cleats are also heat absorbent.
It depends on the surface. It gets heated when I play on natural grass pitches, but it’s not that horrible. On the other hand, when I play on artificial grass fields with black cleats, it can get very hot.

Soccer is typically played during the day. If it’s hot outdoors and on a summer day, there’s a potential that your feet could become uncomfortable from both the weather’s harshness and the heat that black cleats generate.
This will eventually influence how you perform.
But, on the other hand, if you wear them in winter, the black color will give you comfort due to its ability to absorb heat.

What are the Best Soccer Cleats for Hot Weather?
If you want to play soccer in the summer, here are some cleats you can choose to wear or buy.
- Asics DS Light X-Fly:
These cleats are gorgeous in every way. These cleats are nearly perfect, from the all-around comfort to the low-profile stud arrangement that seamlessly transitions between Firm Ground and Artificial Ground surfaces. They come in yellow. These cleats are among the most dependable ones now available, and I doubt they will help players get the required comfort during summer.
- Nike HyperVenom Phantom:
We’re talking about the original Phantom, not the most recent release. There are still plenty of pairs available, some at fantastic prices.
The conical stud configuration meshes perfectly on all surfaces, and the upper has plenty of room for comfortable wear.
They will only be as suitable if you have a narrow fit, but anyone with a medium/wide fit will definitely enjoy what they have to offer.
They come in grey, and this will be good for players to use them in summers
- Mizuno Morelia Neo:
Aside from the excellent low profile, conical stud configuration, the Morelia Neo has another essential feature that makes them ideal for summer wear: a low-cut lace system. Adding a little extra dip on the lacing allows for more ventilation during wear, releasing heat through more areas of the boot.
Moreover, its red color makes it more favorable to wear in the summer.
- Adidas 11Pro:
Adidas is releasing a bunch of new boots, so the 11Pro will be put away for good. But the remaining stock is excellent for players to choose from through the summer.
I love how the upper is soft and made of skinny leather on top of a honeycomb-shaped inner skeleton. The comfort sole is another big plus. It has a very smooth ride and gives your feet a lot of cushioning.
Cleats to avoid:
Because of the material and design, some cleats are used better in winter than in summer. So, you should avoid using them in the summer,
Those are:
- Nike Mid-Cut Collar Cleats:
When we say “mid-cut collar,” we’re talking about the Magista Obra, the Mercurial Superfly, and the Hypervenom II.
No, we’re not talking about the boots many aspiring soccer players love. Since it will be hot when you play sports in the summer, you need a boot that lets air in.
The collar on Nike’s collection of shoes fits around the ankle and makes it harder for heat to escape from the boot. There is no airflow!
We’ve all felt the pain of playing on a surface that was too hot to touch, usually AG. Trapping all that hot air worsened the pain, and your whole foot would end up on fire.
Choose boots with a regular cut, like the Magista Opus or the Mercurial Vapor.
- Under Armour Clutchfit Force:
These cleats are excellent in terms of performance. But they are an absolute nightmare in terms of ventilation!
An under the layer of two-way stretch microfiber and an upper layer of a rubberized 3D print make up the upper. They are on the list of unlucky boots because of their rubbery pattern. You won’t want the rubber layer on top of your boot to let the sun’s heat in when it’s scorching outside!

Tips for playing in hot conditions:
It is a challenging task whenever you play in severely hot conditions. The warm weather cause cramps in your legs and other injuries as well.
But if you want to avoid these problems and want to play positively in intense conditions, follow these tricks.
Avoid Soaking Your Feet in Water:
Pouring water on your feet won’t solve the issue, even if it might seem like a good idea at the time. The water you place on your boots will warm up as your socks do. In essence, your feet will be bathing in a heated bath.

Change Your Socks and cleats at Halftime:
Instead of doing the above, you should change your socks at Halftime (or any other appropriate water break) and keep a spare pair of cleats nearby. Even if it only lasts for five or ten minutes, it will provide you with immediate relief on the field.
Use Cooling Socks:
This is more of a post-game trick. Although they seem strange, they do a great job of cooling down your feet and assisting in reducing any swelling brought on by the excessive heat. There is a LARGE range of cold therapy socks available.
Conclusion:
To conclude, we can say that in hot weather, black-colored cleats should be avoided in any sports.
